Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A vintage movie poster of ''Dark Angel'', a 1935 American romantic drama film directed by Sidney Franklin. This film is a poignant and emotionally charged story set against the backdrop of World War I, known for its exploration of love and sacrifice during times of conflict.
The film's story follows the characters of Alan Trent, portrayed by Fredric March, and Kitty Vane, played by Merle Oberon. Alan and Kitty are childhood friends who become romantically involved. However, their love story is interrupted by the outbreak of World War I, and Alan is called to serve in the British Army. Tragedy strikes when Alan is severely injured in battle and is believed to be dead. Kitty is left heartbroken, and Alan's best friend, Gerald Shannon, portrayed by Herbert Marshall, supports and cares for her in his absence.
